The TECO-LITE by James Fisher Testing Services is a wireless foundation testing system used for checking the integrity of concrete pile foundations.
The TECO-LITE system uses a rugged PDA to receive and analyze data, with a wireless Bluetooth transducer to measure the foundation's acceleration response.
The PDA screen is clearly visible in bright daylight and is provided with a backlight for night operations if required.
Data can be transferred to the windows-based TEAP analysis software through a USB interface or Bluetooth for more detailed analysis and reporting.
This system's flexibility means it can be used to test pre-cast concrete piles, cast-in-place foundations, and timber piles of most dimensions. Typical anomalies that may be located include shaft discontinuities, overbreak or bulges, reductions in section or necking, and poor quality concrete zones.
